About Scot Lane

Scot was born & raised in Calgary, attending grade school and then University of Calgary following graduation. Beginning work at the ripe old age of 12 years old at the family store, a local audio/video business, he moved onto sales when he was 19 years old and purchased his first home at only 21. After a few years, the entrepreneurial spirit took over and he purchased his first business, a small renovation / construction company. During a slowdown in the construction industry, Scot returned to the A/V business where spent 16 years owning / operating a very high end, full home automation company with locations in both Calgary, and the Pacific North West of the United States..

One passion that had always been there was that of Real Estate. In 2015, when it came to tackling a new venture in his life, he took the plunge. Scot has seen both the good times, and the bad times with the ups and downs of the Calgary economy, and understand the housing market to be one of amazing opportunity no matter what state it is in! He has also achieved several awards in the Real Estate industry including reaching Executive Club status, top 5% sales out of 4800+ realtors within the Calgary Real Estate Board, Top 10 salespersons in his brokerage, and many other certifications & accolades.

One of the greatest compliments, and a HUGE source of pride for Scot is that more than 80% of his business comes from referrals—his clients stick with him & trust him with their friends and families.
